Thank you for listening!
Welcome back everybody to Engaging Conversations. I'm Leon Goltsman and today we're celebrating a little milestone our 10th episode. I can hardly believe we're here and it's been such a rewarding journey. I want to take this opportunity to reflect on what we've accomplished, the connections we've made and where we're headed next made and where we're headed next Now. One of the things I love most about this podcast is that it's given me a privilege of sitting down with a wide range of people, each bringing their own stories, wisdom and experiences. I've learned a lot about the art of listening, really listening and engaging on a deeper level than just the words themselves. It's about understanding what's beneath the surface, what drives people and the values that motivate them to make a difference.
Leon Goltsman:While it's easy these days to stay behind screens, email or social media, hosting engaging conversations has brought me back to face-to-face interactions. I'm reminded every day that true connections don't just happen through likes and shares alone. It happens through real conversations, those moments where people feel heard and empowered to share their journeys. I get to ask questions that matter, but, more importantly, I get to provide a platform for others to share what matters to them. Today's episode is a bit of a confession, a chance to reflect. This journey has reminded me how crucial it is to reach out to people, to take a step back from the daily hustle and appreciate the simple yet profound value of interacting with a diverse range of voices. And whilst social media has its perks, what we're doing here isn't just about getting likes or followers. It's about understanding our community. It's about learning from individuals who work tirelessly to lift others up, and that's what makes every guest here so special. And as I look back, I realize that one thing all our guests share is a willingness to go that extra mile. They're not just chasing personal success. Their success is about helping others lead better, richer, more meaningful lives, and that's what I admire most about the people I've had the honor to speak with. Their achievements aren't just measured in numbers or titles, but by the lives they've touched.
Leon Goltsman:You know, along the way, I've also had the chance to weave in some principles from my own books Engaging Conversations and Referral Mastery, and soon Beyond the Brand will join the lineup. Each of these books is about reaching people, understanding what makes us unique and creating a lasting impact in a busy world. Every episode of this podcast has its unique flavor, just like each of you who tunes in you. Our listeners, are what makes this journey worthwhile, and I'm grateful for every message, every piece of feedback and all the support you've shared along the way. So, from myself and everyone here at Ecolibrium Headquarters, a huge thank you. Thank you for not just listening, but for being part of our growing community. It's your voices, your thoughts and your feedback that makes us going and inspire us to bring you conversations that matter.
Leon Goltsman:Reflecting on these principles, I realized the most valuable takeaway is that even the small gestures a smile, a kind word, a hello to a stranger can be so powerful. Smile, a kind word, a hello to a stranger can be so powerful. These small moments can brighten somebody's day, maybe even change a life, and isn't that a beautiful thought. We all have that power. I once heard a saying that those who save a life save the world, and it's true. Sometimes your kindness could be the one thing that makes all the difference to somebody else, and as our network grows, I'm thrilled to see how it brings people together who inspire one another. Yes, we're here to connect and learn, but true success comes from when we all show up, give it our best and encourage one another to keep moving forward.
Leon Goltsman:Over the past weeks, we have had some incredible guests, from Maria Martin at Survivors Are Us to the team at Parkinson's New South Wales, john Jones from Derby Street Pharmacy and many others. If you missed any of those episodes, I encourage you to go back and listen. They're full of wisdom and warmth. In the coming weeks, I'm also excited to bring on even more amazing guests community leaders, visionaries and changemakers from parliament to local council, business owners and everyday heroes making a difference. We'll even be exploring the exciting developments happening right here in our own backyard, such as Trinity Point at Lake Macquarie. They're creating incredible opportunities for local jobs and boosting our economy, turning our regions into a destination that benefits both residents and tourists alike. It's these kinds of initiatives that are reshaping our community, and I can't wait to share more about them.
