Rabbi Yossi Friedman
Rabbi Yossi Friedman is the founder of Rabbi On Demand, a Sydney-based initiative focused on bringing meaningful, personalised Jewish experiences directly to people wherever they are in life.
Known for his compassionate and highly approachable style, Yossi created Rabbi On Demand to help make spirituality, community, and connection more accessible beyond traditional settings. His work includes community gatherings, pastoral care, speaking engagements,s and supporting people through important life moments.
Yossi has spent over 15 years serving communities across Sydney and has also served as an Air Force Chaplain, helping people navigate some of life’s most challenging situations.
Following the Bondi tragedy, Yossi became a reassuring presence for many, promoting compassion, resilience, and unity across faiths, cultures and communities throughout Australia.
