Karen Devins
Karen Devins leads the Domestic and Family Violence program at St Vincent’s Open Support, working at the frontline of one of the most complex and challenging areas of community care.
Her work sits at the intersection of crisis response and long-term recovery, supporting women and children to rebuild their lives with safety, dignity, and independence. Through a structured, trauma-informed approach, Karen helps guide individuals from immediate crisis through to stability, connection, and lasting change.
She brings a deep understanding of the realities of domestic and family violence, including coercive control, trauma, and the long-term impact on families. Her focus is on creating environments where people feel supported, empowered, and able to move forward with confidence.
