Craig Hewat
Craig is the Managing Director and Physiotherapist at Engage VR, bringing over 25 years of experience in sports, rehabilitation, and healthcare. As both an Exercise Physiologist and Physiotherapist, he is passionate about integrating technology with traditional care to expand rehabilitation possibilities. Craig values creating warm, inclusive environments for clients and teams, and is driven by the question, “What’s next?” in the realm of healing and recovery.
Under his leadership, Engage VR pioneers immersive VR-based rehab programs across Australia, using innovation to develop new recovery pathways for conditions like stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and Parkinson’s. Recently, Craig has led collaborations with health-tech leaders, such as Waya Health, to improve telehealth, personalisation, and data-driven solutions.
